Description
This course is designed to prepare individuals familiarization with various construction equipment. Topics include safety practices, blueprint reading, layout, environmental issues, control familiarization, backfilling, tamping, trenching, rigging, digging footers, and correctly entering and exiting heavy equipment. Upon completion, students will demonstrate an understanding of basic construction equipment often used on building construction sites.
