Auditing Courses
Students who seek to audit (take a course without credit) must register through the regular procedure and must meet all course prerequisites and attendance requirements as students who are not auditing. Whether you audit or enroll for credit, you will be charged the same amount for tuition and fees. You must notify your instructor when you begin the course if you want to audit it.
An audit cannot be changed to credit or credit changed to audit. Courses taken as audits may be repeated for credit only. No curriculum course may be audited more than once. A student who audits a course shall not displace students enrolling or registering to receive a grade, academic credit, continuing education unit, or certificate of completion in the course section.
Please be aware that audited courses do not qualify for financial aid.
